  • Everyone who rents a bike or a scooter from Ambonise Scooter & Car Rental must be above 17 years old.
  • Valid Driver’s License from your origin country is mandatory, in combination with an International license.
  • Hirers need to show valid passport and International Driving License
  • No cash money deposit required, just lend us one of your original valid ID (not passport) as a guarantee during you hire the bike.
  • We receive cash only, Indonesian Dollar (IDR). Payment done in advance as we deliver the bike.
  • Free Delivery and Return in Ambon City area.
  • Rental rates are calculated on the 24 hour clock.
  • The bikes are delivered with the original registration and tax paper (STNK). If you loose these, we have to charge you IDR 1,000,000. This is unfortunately very high, but our bike will be out of service for more than a week and we have to pay the government around IDR 500,000 for the new STNK. You have to keep this document with you at all times while using the motorbike.
  • All motorcycles are supplied with a full or partly full tank of petrol upon delivery and should be returned with a same position as it is delivered. Otherwise, you can give cash money for petrol.
  • Motorcycles must be returned on time, this is the condition of the hire. Late return may result in extra hiring costs, so please keep to the agreed return time or notify us 4 hours prior if you wish to extend your rent.
  • All bikes must be locked when not in use. 
  • Hirers have to wear their helmets at all times when riding. 
  • If you have an accident we require you to call us immediately at +6282134594700, not the next day.
  • Ambonise Rental Motor values its customers to enjoy our service and the roads of Ambon. We provide our Bikes to our renters in good faith. In return we request that they will treat them with the respect.
  • We work extremely hard to ensure that our Bikes are in excellent condition for our customers. As such, our Bikes are rented strictly for use on roads only. Our Bikes are not to be taken off road or onto beaches. Strict financial penalties will be applied to renters taking our Bikes off road or onto beaches, which is illegal according to the Indonesian Law.
  • Hirers are responsible for damage of the tires.
  • Don't drive when you are drunk.
  • We are not liable to damage, loss, injury, and death sustained by the hirers riding the motorbikes or there pillion riders and other people involved in accidents.
  • All clients are strongly recommended to obtain appropriate travel and medical insurances.
  • Clients are responsible to ensure that every member of their group has proper travel document as regulated by the government of the Republic of Indonesia.
  • We will not entertain any complaints raised after client’s departure.
  • We are not liable for failure to perform our obligation caused by issues beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to act of God, power failure, fire, flood, epidemic disease, war, riot, and terrorism.
  • We are not liable to any illegal conduct or actions against the law of the Republic of Indonesia.
